The workshops will focus on oboe instruments and repertoire from the period of Bach’s stay in Leipzig, as well as the famous Café Zimmermann.
Biography:
Stjepan Nodilo (1986, Dubrovnik) completed his primary and secondary music education in his hometown. In 2005, he began his recorder studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the class of Prof. Hans M. Kneihs, and obtained his master’s degree in 2012.
He studied Baroque oboe in the class of Prof. Carin van Heerden at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, as well as with Prof. Andreas Helm at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz.
Since 2016, he has been active as principal oboist of the Croatian Baroque Ensemble. He performs regularly in Croatia and abroad with early music ensembles and collaborates with renowned conductors and orchestras specialized in historically informed performance.
